Creative
learning is fundamental to Exploration Theatre's work. Its aim is
to use theatre to nurture the development of today's young people
and business professionals. Through participative activities in a creative
environment, it helps develop expression, communication, imagination,
leadership and critical thinking. Working in close collaboration with
educational and professional organizations over the past fifteen years,
Exploration Theatre designs tailor-made programmes in the areas of drama-in-education,
community outreach and training.
To date, Exploration Theatre has initiated creative projects that have reached out to nearly 600,000 participants. In the summer of 2004, Exploration Theatre will be sharing its success story and providing training at IDEA's (International Theatre/Drama Education Association) 5th World Congress in Ottawa, Canada.
